A Nightmare on West Street

Robert Rees and Elphin Productions proudly champion performance, party, and theatrics—bringing the West End community together through unforgettable events that celebrate creativity and give back to those at the heart of the industry.

In 2022 and 2023, Robert produced the now-legendary charity Halloween party A Nightmare on West Street at the prestigious Ivy Club in the heart of London’s Theatreland. Created especially for the West End theatre community, the event raised both vital funds and awareness for Acting for Others, which supports UK theatre workers in need. In 2024, the celebration expanded its impact by also raising money for the Actor’s Children’s Trust, helping performers and their families thrive.

Blending spooky spectacle with live performance, DJs, drag artists, raffles, and theatrical flair, A Nightmare on West Street has become a much-anticipated highlight of the theatrical social calendar. As featured in What’s On Stage, the event shines a spotlight on the crucial work of these charities—unifying artists, industry figures, and audiences in support of the people who keep theatre alive.
